Reduced service at Faygate expected until the end of the day

Last updated: 27/04/2026 16:17

Some platforms at Faygate have been closed for safety reasons. This means that the line towards London is currently blocked.

As a result, trains running from Horsham to Peterborough in this direction only, will not call at Faygate.

Trains running from Peterborough to Horsham will call at Faygate as normal.

This is expected to continue for the remainder of the day.

Customer advice:

Thameslink services from Horsham towards Peterborough will not stop at Faygate, and will run non-stop from Littlehaven to Ifield.

Thameslink services in the opposite direction will still call at Faygate as usual.

If you are travelling northbound from Faygate towards London and Peterborough:

You can take a train towards Horsham first, and change at Littlehaven for a train in the return direction.

If you are travelling to Faygate on a northbound train:

You can continue on the train as far as Ifield, and change there for a train in the return direction.
